Basement Design

Shortly after the Wilson’s purchased their new home, the couple decided to turn the house’s dark, mostly unfinished 2,000-square-foot basement into a livable lower level.

Their basement remodeling plan was: adding a bedroom and a powder room, besides dedicated half the space to the hobbies of teenage boys, with a home theater, a pool table, a Ping-Pong table and an area specifically for Xbox playing.

An exercise room and a basement bar were parts of the remodeling plan as well.

Before the renovation, the vast majority of the basement was wasted space but after finishing the basement they gained hundreds of square meters entertainment and recreation space in the house.
